If your main goal is feeding the most people for the fewest chicken dollars, this is your box.
The Whole Chicken Box includes 4 whole chickens each month for:
November 2026
December 2026
January 2027
Roast them, smoke them, spatchcock them, cut them up yourself, or make one the designated Sunday chicken and let the leftovers earn their keep all week.
This is a three-month standing order, not a subscription that renews forever. You are reserving the same box for all three months, and your commitment ends after the January pickup.
WHAT YOU ARE PAYING TODAY
The $350 reserves all three of your boxes. Any overage in weight will be invoiced prior to pick up, and if any boxes are underweight, you will receive a store credit.
If desired, you can break the reservation cost into two payments. Choosing the payment plan only changes when you pay the reservation deposit. It does not turn this into a month-to-month box or create a cancellation option.
HOW THE CHICKEN IS PRICED
Chicken Club whole chickens are $9 per pound.
Because chickens have absolutely no interest in growing to one convenient, bookkeeping-friendly size, your final total will be based on the actual packaged weight.
Each month, I will:
Package and weigh your 4 chickens.
Apply one-third of your reservation deposit to that month’s total.
Invoice you for any remaining balance before pickup.
If a month comes in lighter than expected, the unused portion of your deposit carries forward. If any credit remains after January, you may receive a refund or keep it as store credit.
PICKUP AND MONTHLY MEETUPS
Farm pickup in Smithville is guaranteed.
Monthly meetups are planned for:
Bastrop
Austin
San Marcos
San Antonio
Katy
Belton
Each meetup route must reach a posted combined order minimum before I can commit to making the drive. I love y’all. I cannot spend four hours and a tank of gas delivering one box of chicken.
If your preferred route does not meet the minimum, you may switch to a confirmed meetup, pick up at the farm in Smithville, or receive a full refund. You will not be stuck with a pickup option that does not work for you.
IMPORTANT RESERVATION TERMS
Reservations close Thursday, September 10 at 9:00 p.m. Central, or earlier if all available boxes are claimed.
After reservations close, your deposit payments are nonrefundable and any remaining scheduled deposit payment is still due. I order the birds Friday morning based on paid reservations and raise that chicken specifically for your family.
The pickup-route refund option still applies if your selected meetup does not reach its minimum and neither a confirmed route nor Smithville farm pickup works for you.
Raised at Lost Pines Poultry Farm with no antibiotics. Pasture-finished, air-chilled, USDA inspected, and frozen for pickup.
